Consciously Digital Fellowship

Are you an established digital wellbeing professional who has been in the area for a few years? You have built a name and a solid practice, spend at least 50% of your time on digital wellbeing-related work, but simply don't have time to monitor all the latest research and feel you are doing it all by yourself? This program might for you.

Over the past 10 years, we have been building a strong international community of graduates in digital wellbeing, who have been through one of the most rigorous training programs certified by ICF and NBHWC.

We work with hundreds of clients around the world and regularly meet in person and online to exchange our experiences and talk about the latest research. We have never taken grants from big tech or associated organizations for what we do and are fully self-sustainable (and as we hope, this also helps us stay unbiased).

We are now ready to open the CD community resources to up to 10 established digital wellbeing professionals through the Consciously Digital Fellowship per year.

**What are we trying to achieve?**

1. Build global reputation for all of us
We want to make sure that digital wellbeing is seen as a reputable and legitimate field of studies and applications, and to raise its professional bar. We hope to help people who operate in this area use the latest evidence-based research for their work rather than relying on publications in the mainstream media, and offer well-balanced perspectives to their clients. Ultimately, what each of us does in the public space defines the reputation of digital wellbeing as a sector.

2. Get big thinkers together
We also want to bring in new ideas and perspectives and backgrounds into the Consciously Digital community. We're all about nurturing big thinkers with original ideas who can shake things up in the digital wellbeing world. With this fellowship, you'll have a platform to share your ideas, inspire others, and make a real difference. It's also more fun to solve increasingly challenging digital dilemmas with more smart people!

**Who is the fellowship for?**

Educators, trainers, coaches, researchers, product owners, who spend more than 50% of their time working on digital wellbeing-related challenges. Basically, those whose career is clearly related to digital wellbeing and they can prove it. If you are building a product in digital wellbeing while working part-time in a different job, we will review your application. We look for people with similar values, although you may disagree with us on many things.

**Who is it NOT for?**

Students, people who want to enter the digital wellbeing field, people who don't work with real digital wellbeing clients and have no experience, people who work in digital wellbeing part-time on a case-by-case basis, people looking for business advice. For you, we recommend our certification program.

This fellowship aims to support independent professionals and is not suitable for people who have been awarded any type of grants by big tech companies or associated organizations.

**How it works**

We select up to 10 fellows for a term of one year. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all places have been filled. Then anonymized applications are voted by our community members, and up to 10 applicants are chosen to become fellows.

If your application is successful, we will contact you within a week of your application. During your fellowship with Consciously Digital, you get access to the following perks:

- Monthly summary of the latest research in digital wellbeing (Excel)
- 4 live research calls with CD founder Dr. Anastasia Dedyukhina via Zoom (recordings available)
- Access to the archive of previous research and recordings
- 3 networking calls with the CD community per year
- 3 brainstorming sessions led by a professional facilitator
- Free access to CD-run public events (not training programs) on basic tickets
- Access to CD-only Slack community to network
- Opportunity to book a place in our digital detox gathering for the community only for a separate fee (26th-29th September 2024 Sardinia, Italy)

**What we expect from you**

Once your fellowship begins, we will collectively define the "success criteria" for your year with us. We suggest that you focus on a specific project that you wish to advance through this fellowship. Upon completion of your fellowship, you will be required to demonstrate how participation in the CD fellowship assisted you in extending your reach and enhancing your professional abilities.

**Fellowship fee**

50 GBP application + 500 GBP annual cost to be paid if your application is successful. The application fee will be refunded to you if your application is not successful within 5-7 working days. Application fee is not refundable if you decide not to proceed.
